Canine Good Citizen The CGC Program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. This 6 week session stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. Each week we will practice the behaviors required to pass the exam such as loose leash heeling, sit, down and come. This is a great program to prepare your dog for visits to farmer’s markets, brew pubs and other public venues or as a stepping stone to performance events. Last class is the exam. – 6-6:50 Wednesday evenings – $120 Register
Basic Dog Obedience Train your dog the basic obedience commands that will make him a delight to be around. This 4 week session will cover 9 important commands that will keep your dog safe and well-mannered. – 6-6:50 Tuesday and 7-7:50 Wednesday evenings – $75 – Register
Foundation Obedience Competition Get your dog started on the right paw to a successful competition career. All levels of competition can be accomodated. This 4 week session emphasizes motivation and precision. 8-8:50 Tuesday evenings – $75 – Register
Rally Obedience In each class we will focus on a few of the signs, learning what the symbols mean and how to correctly perform each exercise. The 4 week session emphasizes team work and having fun while improving your precision in the ring. The session will conclude with practice on a sample rally course. 7-7:50 Tuesday evenings – $75 – Register
So Your Dog Wants to be in Commercials Train your dog in the foundation behaviors that are required in many photoshoots and commercial shoots. At the end of the 8 week session, any dog that has learned the basic behaviors will have its pictures and bio posted on Feathers & Fur Talent Agency website. 8-8:50 Wednesday evenings – $150 – Register
Private Lessons – Personalized lessons available $50 per hour – Register

I also offer drop-in Nose Work and Companion Obedience Classes Mondays and Saturdays at Shaver Community Park, adjacent to Shaver Elementary School in NE Portland. Students work on excercises seperately and as part of a group depending on the needs of the dogs at each class. Join a class this week.
